DCS has a lot of choppers and is a better environment for them

Comparing their contribution to WW2 effort and their numbers to those of many other types of flying machines, I seriously hope we don't see them any time soon.

 

OP, don't get me wrong - I would love to see them in the sim - in a world where you whisper "Abracadabra" and wave your wizzard wand and things magically come true. Sadly, this isn't such a world and I'd much rather see effort of developers (and consequently our money and support) spent on stuff with bigger historical impact.

Yep, they'd work more like a "proof of concept" for rotary wing flight dynamics in 1C / 777s FDM :-)

They could be prototyped in a Korean War scenario and they’re obligatory for Vietnam or later, if BoX ever goes there.

Which it shouldn’t. 

 

DCS is much better at helos, this one is best left to them.
