Help on polished finishes

Hello

I'm really struggling to find the polished mojo. I'm trying to get a passable polished metal finish on the cowls of a ju52 bit no matter what ive tried, including matching the colours and alphas from the A20 bare metal layers, nothing is working. It just looks glossy grey.  Not sure if its the plane but I doubt it. 

 

Any advice on alpha levels or paint colours and effects to achieve this most welcomed.

This new polished metal effect has only been applied to a few planes so far. You will have to wait until they update the Ju 52 as well.
