How to play with triple screen?

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I recently bought this simulator (CloD Blitz) and I can't get it to work correctly on my triple screen.

After a lot of reading, I modified the conf.ini file and I can play with a resolution of 5760x1080, but in window mode (impossible full screen mode + triple screen).

Do the developers have plans to give full support in multi-screen mode? That is, that the simulator can render each screen separately? And in this way you can adjust the angle of the side screens (as can be done in DSC World and X-Plane11)?

Thanks and regards.

This is outside of my area, but I wanted to respond so you know we aren't ignoring you. The correct people have been asked about it.

I have finally managed to make it work with triple screen in full screen mode.

The texts that appear in the upper part of the screen are shown cut (but it isn't important).

To configure the part related to the graphic resolution, it is better to manually modify the conf.ini file (\Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover).

In my case and with an Nvidia graphics card, the Surround mode must be activated (6052x1080 with bezel compensation).

My conf.ini file is as follows:

[window]

DepthBits = 24

StencilBits = 8

DrawIfNotFocused = 0

SaveAspect = 0

Render = D3D11

width = 6052

height = 1080

posLeft = 0

posTop = 0

ColourBits = 32

FullScreen = 1

ChangeScreenRes = 2

Frequency = 60

StereoMode = 0

In this way, you can play with triple screen. But taking into account that in the lateral monitors the image is shown
stretched, since this simulator doesn't render each screen separately.

I hope that in the future the developers will add this functionality.

Thanks again 69thSpiritus_Mortem. Regards.

Do we have any news on the eventual development of “non-surround” triple screen mode ?

We can easily get rid of nvidia surround horrible distortions in games like P3D DCS or X-Plane11 by setting up a correct viewing angle FoV and the lateral and vertical offsets for lateral screens.

Even if 3x rendering eats substantially FPS it is the only valid solution for many people with triple screen setups.

You would make tons of gamers happy if you decide to offer this feature.

Please keep us posted.

Best Regards.
