sevenless Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Hi folks, is there a way to carry over a running career to a new pc by copying files and/or directories or do I have to start from scratch again ?

Wolfram-Harms Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 I guess you could save the whole folder "data" and exchange it after the new install. That should save your skins, your missions and your setup of keys and input devices. Would be great, if an expert could comment on this thought.

It would probably work, but moving around 16 GB "data" folders isn't always practical. Take only the few necessary files to save time. If you find yourself frequently switching between computers and transferring skins, missions, etc., it's best to use a version control system. Then, you can easily transfer changes to all your installations within seconds. 1
