sevenless Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Hi, I was just wondering after having read that the initial production Yak 1 first saw action End 1941, why not integrate them in the moscow career? Quote: Only Moscow Air Defence Region’s 11 IAP was completely equipped and operational with 62 Yak-1s, while a further 30 Yaks were shared between other regiments protecting the Soviet capital. In Kiev Special District, Sambora-based 20 IAP had 61 Yaks (together with 60 I-16s and I-153s) for 63 pilots, while 91 IAP had received just four Yak-1s to supplement its Polikarpov biplanes. Dutchvdm Posted April 10, 2018 Posted April 10, 2018 Hi, The Yak-1 version we have is from 1942 and doesn't really fit the Moscow timeframe. An early Yak-1 would be nice though... Just like an early Lagg-3, Ju-87, Bf-110 F2, Bf-109 F4 (derated) etc. Grt M 1 1

Agree the more the merrier, especially if they probably could adapt existing models with minor effort to represent the earlier versions. 1
