Defending Port Moresby Battle of New Guinea

Here's a few shots from the event I'm currently joining every monday, hope you guys will enjoy those.

A big thanks to 64s_Tomio the C6s and the rest.

I shot down 3 Japs in my first sortie and one more later.

Basically groups of A20s went to bomb the Japanese convoys while we tried to defend them from the Japs coming from Wiewak with our P-40s and P-39s.

What is the event? Where does one find out about it? And what is the "stand-in" that you are using for the Japanese aircraft?

It's a French event on the checksix forum.

The Japanese aircraft is a MC 202 disguised as a Ki-61.

Have a look at the presentation there's a bunch of pictures, there's even one of Tomio in his Japanese pilot uniform.

By the way I know the red tails weren't there I made a mistake by taking this skin but someone else did and I followed for some reason.

I'll get some more historical skin next time!
