aila Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 Hi, I'm quite new with IL2 so I'm sure this is an actual issue with the software or simply my inexperience; however I couldn't find anywhere a solution, so I suspect something here doesn't work as it should. Recently it happend that during take off with the rest of the squadron, only couple of planes in front of me took off, the others however did not. I initially though about some radio requests, but I couldn't find anything neither on manual or key mappings that would suggest to such thing. Is it me or some times the other planes just wait forever on the runway?
dburne Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 That is odd and might perhaps be a bug, I have several missions into the Career now and can't say I have seen that. Usually what I see is a couple of wingmen crashing into each other on take off run.
sniperton Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 @aila: Happened to me several times at Tushino airfield in the Moscow campaign. That airfield seems to be bugged, but others may also be affected. Select airstart as a workaround, and report the bugged mission by uploading all _gen.* files from the Missions folder. Grab and zip the files before you hit "next day".

In other words,the career mode is broken and partially unplayable due to a anicent bug what nobody wants to fix till this day?
