P40 engine start sequence...

What is up with the over priming, and the prop being "pulled" through a couple blades before the actual start up?

Starting the P40 takes far too long, and is inconsistent with any real P40s I've seen started on video or in real life.

What we have in the sim looks like the procedure for starting a radial that has been sitting for a very long time.

Procedure is right, well, kinda. We have right procedure for starting cold engine, in this case propeller should be pulled through up to three revolutions. If the engine is warm up, you should start the engine without pulling the propeller (incorrect in game). And priming is also modeled incorrectly - you should just stroke priming lever for few times, the propeller should not move at all during priming.

Here are examples of starting procedure from various P-40E manuals -

The P-39 startup sequence also has similar issues.
