I hosted this mission of Coconut's this evening.   It's just stunningly beautiful.

And the mission is so really well done. Tons of targets, and some really immersive flying...

Wow, just, wow.

Coconut is great - but you really should learn the editor.

If you'd have started back when you were thinking about it you'd have been hosting your own missions by now.

After mucking about with it for a while now, all I can say is...

Nope nope nope.

Way too complicated for this old guy.

I'm glad that there are folks that really understand it, but nope, at my age, I'll be dead long before I have a grip on that thing.

The terminology alone is like reading hieroglyphics.

Sorry Gambit, I appreciate you trying to help me, but I just want to fly, not spend untold hours toiling in this overly complicated piece of software.

I've got to say I feel somewhat the same way. I'm not sure it's really as much it's complexity or if it's just a lack of focus on my end. I've tried several times to set up a simple airfield with some cameras positioned to use for filming takeoffs, landings and aerobatics. I've tried to figure out how to place some objects around the field but I finally gave up. Getting too old. I think sometimes I'm losing my patience when failing to learn something complex if I don't get it after a few attempts.

Still, as BlitzPig_El said, this sim is truly stunning to look at while sightseeing. That keeps me entertained for hours.

It is looking fantastic now.:salute:    I'm not bothering with Reshade anymore,  it just isn't need imo.

Also, hosting coops has been a breeze.  I've been running SYN_Vander's and TX_Tips missions for the guys without any problems.  No connection problems, no stuttering, no rubber-banding.

Been using Mods On mode with these too.  Green Moscow map is astonishing.:o:

Well in any case, I'm glad you have a solution or two for obtaining missions that you're happy with - that's all that counts I suppose. ;)

And, I know enough that I can usually edit the plane sets to add the later aircraft, or subtract others, from the flyables on airfields.
