This puts it roughly level in clarity to Vive Pro as per reviewers comments. Edited April 4, 2018 by ICDP
BeastyBaiter Posted April 5, 2018 Posted April 5, 2018 That's what I'd expect given they have the same displays. It's a real shame BoX is glitched with WMR. The $500 Odyssey (often $400) is a much easier pill to swallow than $1500 or whatever the Vive Pro + sensors + wands cost. 1
BeastyBaiter Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 Tested the Rift, at 1.0 SS I can read all characters on line 10 and read most of them on line 11. At 1.4 SS I can read all characters on line 11 and most of them on line 12. I can genuinely read the text (without knowing beforehand what it is) down to line 13-14 though although many of the characters are not legible. But enough can be read at that point to fill in the blanks and letter size can be used to guess (e.g. can't tell a lower case "a" from "o" from "e" but I do know it's one of them).
