taffy2jeffmorgan Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Hi All, Would it be possible to take screen shots of various Russian fighter cockpits and save for my own use [ to display in a military history presentation ] or would there be copy right problem ? Failing that, are there any good sites where i could view photos of the above. If the screen shot option is permissible, where can i find the screen shots after saving . Cheers
Mitthrawnuruodo Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 Copyright would not be a problem. There is also the "Video Creation and Use Policy" that can be found here. Find the screenshots in the "Screenshots" folder in your main Il-2 directory. Take screenshots by pressing a key that's configured in your control settings.
CrazyDuck Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 For a quick reference keep in mind that Russian cockpits sometimes use coloring for important instruments related to engine/fuel in order to help the pilot find the appropriate gauge faster. Yellow = Fuel level Red(Brown) = Oil temperature Green = Coolant temperature See IL-2 instrument panel - lower left part of it contains all these three.
