Honour goblet BEFORE Iron Cross 1st class.

Hello.

 

I've been awarded the Iron Cross 2nd class but not the Iron Cross 1st class. Tonight I was awarded the Honour Goblet which in WWII would not have been possible before the award of the Iron Cross 1st class (based on my research).
