migmadmarine Posted May 28, 2020 Posted May 28, 2020 Anyone else had an issue with this template in Gimp 2.0? Loading it it all looks fine except for the engine exhaust and oil leak layers, which display red for some reason.

Direct Download links for Bf-109 public Template and new Normal Map: Normal Map (Bump Map) for public Template with backup of original Bump Map (Version V.003a, 01.05.2018) Am I making a mistake, or is there something wrong with the Normal Map? I'm not getting the right "holes", in my left wing for example, when my airplane is damaged.
RaFiGer Posted June 29, 2020 Author Posted June 29, 2020 Hello MattS, do you could post a screenshot of the wrong location's? Actually I have a new Normal Map uploaded togehter with my newer skins, so would be nice then I can investigate to possible fix it!

Here you go (click to enlarge)...I installed your Normal map and let the Pe-2s shoot me. Unfortunately I was killed before he hit my right wing ? I think the Alpha channel of the Normal Map controls these holes, but I could be wrong. In the mean time I have been using the Normal map included with III/JG2Gustav05's G-6 skin, which seems to show damage correctly and has black damage marks on the Alpha of the Normal, shown below: Edited June 30, 2020 by MattS Added image 1
RaFiGer Posted June 30, 2020 Author Posted June 30, 2020 (edited) Hello MattS, thank you for your input, I will check it! Just to clarify there should be black holes shown on the wing instead of the "light" patches and the fuselage shows the holes correct, right? Remark & Question: I use a 4k version of the Normal Map maybe here's a possible reason, but I think your're right Alpha map causes this. I have reload and may I ask you to check if it's alright working now? Here's a new Normal Map with Alpha Layer for Testing: New Normal Map with corrected Alpha Layer Edited June 30, 2020 by RaFiGer New Normal Map File

XQ_Lothar29 Posted June 30, 2020 Posted June 30, 2020 (edited) Here at last I present to you the Finnish racing BF109G6 in 1950. It is not finished yet, because even though I did two or three years ago, good Skins, today, some things I do not finish remembering. so very soon they will have this preciousness that I do not participate in the war with these colors. Even if he did participate in the war with his Original registration. I wish you like it Bf 109G-6, MT-508, flown by luutnantti (Lieutenant) Arvo Arima, HLeLv 31, Air Race, Utti, Finland, June 1950 Regards and Thx for This Template.
