Sporally Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 I just bought the Thrustmaster T.16000M and tried it out for a little, but had som issues with getting the throttle to work. When I assign the throttle it is registered, but there is no reaction when I´m testing the input. Has anyone got a file I can add with all the setup ready for play or where can I find a guide for setting up the T.16000M w/throttle? Thanks a lot in advance for any help!
taffy2jeffmorgan Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 What about the other functions of the stick, are they all working correctly ?
Wolfram-Harms Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 (edited) First you need to make sure, that inSETTINGS in "Engine Management" (or however that's named in English) you really have assigned the throttle slider of the T 16.000 M. Then, if you don't get the desired reaction ingame, try to mirror the slider input. Some input sliders may do the opposite, like "zero throttle" when you push it all up. But if you mirror that, it should be alright. EDIT: Good morning, Australia! (Well, morning here - your end it must rather be evening, I guess...) EDIT: Or could this be your problem? https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/35451-la-5-throttle-where-am-i-wrong/?do=findComment&comment=597046 Edited March 29, 2018 by Wolfram-Harms

WA is still the 1970's so it could be morning, noon and night!! 1
Sokol1 Posted March 29, 2018 Posted March 29, 2018 (edited) Just in case test the throttle operation in Windows Games Controllers (in Start/Cortana box type joy.cpl, hit enter). In game after assign throttle axis for "Engines throttle control", click in "S" icon (Input Responses) at right and test the movement. If need invert the movement click in the curved arrow ahead axis name until this became highlight (in screenshot the throttle axis in inverted). Edited March 30, 2018 by Sokol1
Sporally Posted April 2, 2018 Author Posted April 2, 2018 OK. I made it work! Unfortunately, I can´t say exactly what I did (or if something else should be done), but I simply installed the driver found on this page: https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/product/t16000mfcs-en/ . Clik on "Drivers", click on the file, install and it should work fine for both the stick and the throttle. Don´t apply the stick or throttle until told so while installing. Why I didn´t do this in the first place? Thought it was plug and play. And since they both somewhat worked (the throttle showed a reaction in game) I expected downloading a driver from the website wasn´t needed. But this simple help get you somewhere.
