IL2 does not shut down properly.

Whenever I finish IL2 and quit the window it says, "Stopping Background Task, please wait." But it never completes the task. So I go down the bar at the bottom and click `Close Window`.

 

But... it is still there because if I try to restart it`ll say, "Another instance of the Launcher is already running."

 

I have to go into task Manager and "End Task" for it to finally go away.

 

Anyone else getting this?

 

On Windows 10 home, GTX 1060, i5, 16 gig ram.

I never use the launcher.   Can you just make a shortcut for the game itself?     If I do use the launcher I get the same message as you because I always forget that I have two programs to shut down  :-)
