Blitzen Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 I have started a Stuka campaign this past week & have a question or two.I start 'in flight' because as I understand it these bomber career campaigns involve a lot of long distance flying & I like to get a little head start. with the Stuka campaign , very shortly after dropping bombs on a target ( whether I hit it or not) I get a 'Mission Completed" ( in my case in Italian!!) message across the screen & on my map as well. Does this mean like in the older versions of Campaigns I am free to hit "Escape' & be given credit for the action or should I fly all the way back home with further action possible & landing at my home airfield? Does the flight back give me any extra points for medals or rank advancement? I haven't wanted to quit a mission early for fear of killing off my pilot & my career. Can someone in the know help me out? Also if I crash land on my own airfield am i given credit for the mission and have I survived to fly the next mission?
