i have to admit, my photoshop is weirdly slow with this template, even though it handles the 4k 110 template just fine which is twice in size. quite peculiar

Well I'm a bit surprised.

On my computeur (only 8 Go RAM) the template doesn't cause any noticeable slow down.

@Zargos

Nice one, top notch :)

Thank you very much & you give me a boost to Speed up my trails on the Bf-109 G-series to do the same ;)

@ 6./ZG26_Asgar, szelljr :

I've though of something ... may be worth to try.

I've made the template with Photoshop CC 2017 and although I'm not sure this could be the reason of the slow downs.

Then maybe if you open the template and save it using "save as", you'll get rid of your troubles.

It's just a suggestion ...

Hi Zargos,

first of all thanks for your work (and to others involved too).

I'm unable to open the template, it says that the file is damaged. Is this .rar file 82 MB?

Merci beaucoup

Well, my local copy is  OK and open properly in Phtoshop.

Anyway I've reuploaded it (see the link above)

I also uploaded :

- A zip archive (approx. 160 Mo)

- A uncompressed version of the PSD file (approx 300 Mo)

I hope all will work fine.

Sorry for the inconvienence.

Link broken?

No, I dont think so.

I just modify the link to point on the home page of the Zargos Skin Factoty : just click on the "TEMPLATE" option in the main menu.

If you prefer direct DL clik here

Cheers.

Yes, I do so. But a file of 0 kb is being downloaded.

At the same time normalmap is loaded normally.

Sorry for my English.

Ooops !

It's my fault. The DL link was pointing on the template page ...

It should be OK now.

Sorry.

Unfortunately I can not download the template. File size = 0kb. Tried different browsers, different providers, but ...

This is a fantastic template Zargos-all that you need and nothing you don't.

I also had issues with slow loading and response with the template-until I saved it under a new name. Since then no issues!

Working on 100 GIAP white 13 right now, almost there!

I I guess the only thing I’m curious about are the wing gun covers.

were they standardized on the -39L? Or would removing them be realistic?

Hello,

The template is almost finished.

With the help of RaFiGer, I've managed to create a decent normal map.

We (I've some help from PatCartier) are finishing to re-write all the stencil.

It's a bit complicated because the 2k stencils are not readable (some are somehow quite easy to guess) and because we lack relevant documentation.

We've been provided with stencils or documentation, (thanks to Pict, Pips and Raptotattacker) but these are for a Q version and obviously the stencils are not the same and not all located at the same places.

The point is :

  1. Are the stencils of the offical template correct ?
  2. If they are, can anybody can provide us with reliable information ?
  3. If they are not, are the Q version stencils appropriate for a L version (I don't think so). And then we also need information.

For example, here are somme stencils I couldn't guess and for which I'm looking information :

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Good evening Zargos!

I sent you by e-mail some pictures and a scan of the decal sheet that is part of the Eduard's P-39L/N kit in 1:48 scale. In that decal sheet there should be all the stencils you neeed for the L model! Together with this material I also put in attachment the scan of the instruction sheet, so you can see where to place the various stencils.

Thanks for all the work you are doing!!!!!
