Control setting freeze

I am having trouble setting some controls. I'll successfully get the control logged, but then the screen freezes. I can't move onwards to other settings. I can't do anything. I hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete, get the screen to switch off BOS, and then everything goes right back to Control Setting before I can turn off BOS. I have no choice but to turn off my computer.

I've had that issue on occasion, Leit. I had to literally hit the apply button (bottom right?) after every button assignment to avoid the already assigned buttons reverting back to their original state. Even now (because I re-installed BoS) I'll still do it after every few assignments in case of a freeze.

Have had the same problem, just a bug I guess, try setting controls 1 at a time and then hit apply.

Are you setting new controls or changing old ones? I had the same problem and found If I deleted the old controls (say Joy_1 B6 to change it to Joy_2 B9)  It would not lock up if I remove Joy_1 B6 first. Also one left mouse click is all that's needed to set a control, double click it and it will lock up.
