Before posting the below, I thought I should do a search on these forums because I couldn't imagine someone else hadn't found them and posted the link. Well -- I finally found it posted by one of our founders, dave9810, on October 2, 2014! I certainly missed it -- so I'm going to post the link again -- but thanks goes to dave9810 for posting the original link!

 

I discovered a YouTube video last night called "Wings of Russia documentary. Issue 2. Fighters -- The Stormy Years". I apologize for repeating this -- but this video was so fantastic in explaining the history of the planes we're flying and how they were involved in each of these battles, Stalingrad, Moscow and Kuban. I see there's another video called "Wings of Russia documentary. Issue 1. Fighters -- The First Victories", which I'll watch today. If it's half as good as the "Issue 2" video, it'll be a must watch and will also add immersion into the game!

Just found this incredible video about Bf 109 in finnish service. There is lot of interesting interviews with pilots and lot of unique footage.
