BlitzPig_EL Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 I'm not seeing the A20, P39, Yak7, La5FN or 109G6 as being available in PWCG. Am I not doing something correctly?

BlitzPig_EL Posted March 25, 2018 Author Posted March 25, 2018 Ah.. Totally understandable then. I was just wondering if it had something to do with maybe the Steam keys, or lack thereof, or one of my normal missing something in the manual like a numpty moves. Thank you sir. I'll carry on then.
Trooper117 Posted March 25, 2018 Posted March 25, 2018 Pat said he will add the remaining aircraft in the next patch...
PatrickAWlson Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 In progress. The planes have been added into PWCG but are not yet assigned to squadrons. Anybody have information on which units used the three Russian airplanes? P39 A20 Yak 7B Squadron, locations (approximate is fine), and date of assignment. The G6 is obvious ,,, everybody that flies 109s I also need some help with the G6 and Yak 7B. I don't own them so I will need somebody to fly a test mission for me.

Chief_Mouser Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 Here's a little bit regarding the P-39: By April 1943, the 216th SAD comprised five regiments: 16th Guards IAP, 45th IAP, 42nd IAP, 57th Guards IAP, and 765th Ground-Attack Aviation Regiment (shturmovoy aviatsionnyy polk ShAP). The division had been executing combat missions while based on Popovicheskaya airfield, not far from Krasnodar, since early April. Altogether the division had 114 aircraft, by type: 14 Yak-1, 48 P-39 Airacobra, 8 P-40 Kittyhawk, and 29 Spitfire. The division complement also included a ground-attack regiment, which had on hand 15 Il-2 Shturmoviks. from http://lend-lease.airforce.ru/english/articles/spit/ Cheers.
