FuriousMeow Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 (edited) Brought the 109 in for a perfect three point landing today. The descent was probably a little too high, but the touch down was great with only a small bounce and I was down. As I lost speed I began to yaw right so I hit full left rudder and applied full left brake. Plane continued to yaw really hard until it rolled over on the left wingtip briefly and then settled down. Tried to taxi, but it was really squirrelly. Found out why when I went to external view. Edited January 4, 2014 by FuriousMeow
BeastyBaiter Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 As long as you don't specify which 3 points I think it still counts. 4
Lextor Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) Ha-ha) Today I also perfectly landed 109th, only swayed a bit at the moment of touchdown.. But on the whole the landing was very smooth and I was proud of myself. Until I went to external view and found that I have lost the right wing. Edited January 5, 2014 by Lextor
CPS_Shadow Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 This is starting to sound like a lot of my landings.
FlyingH Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 (edited) "A good landing is one that you can walk away from!" Don´t remember who made this statement but it seems apropriate, doesn´t it?!! Edited January 5, 2014 by FlyingH
Volkoff Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 I wouldn't call this landing perfect, but I am getting better at landing the LaGG-3. I still have a ways to go, though. MJ http://vimeo.com/83415415
andyw248 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Well, at least it's very close to perfect Not much to improve there...
