QMB multiple plane dogfight option

After first install this worked without problems, on day two I cannot get it to work . I can choose it, but when you come to last map where the start button and settings for plane, there is only start button availeable. No settings for your plane, and if you push the start button all you get is spectator view of the terreign . All other qmb options work. I reinstalled the game , but no joy. I have no idea why this did work first time and not anymore. No log saying anything is wrong
