Virpil Mongoose T50CM dimensions wanted

Hi

 

I got a T50CM inbound and will be using a custom mount for it to fit to my wheelstand pro. 

 

Can anyone tell me what the internal dimensions  of the "C" shaped attachment is on the back of the unit. This is the part that would normally fit into the desk mount and secure with the 4 bolts. In my case it will be fitting over a plinth (hence the internal dimension requirement). The thread and size of the bolts would be useful inof too.

The bolts are M4's, thread length is 12 mm. Here is a diagram of the bracket, metal is 3 mm thick so you should be able to determine the inside dimensions.

would be really useful if this was included in the manual at some point as not everyone can use the desk mount with their set up. Thanks again Gramps.

Glad to be of help. FYI I do not use a desk mount, I adapted one of my own. The base of the stick does not rest on the wooden mount, which sits on an open drawer of my desk. I prefer this to it being center mounted.

once I (read my friend who has some woodworking talent) finalise my fitting ill post up here - you never know - It may help someone in future.

Had to fit my desk mount to my chair, as it was slightly too small to mount to my table (and I was worried it would damage the table and shorten my life considerably when the wife found out)
