I've lost faith years ago with VKB. I cannot understand why they operate like they do. I am grateful Virpil came along otherwise my "get back to flight sims" wouldn't have been possible.

lol.. the twist is "you've pre-ordered a pre-order"

it means only SOME of you will be lucky enough to receive it in the end. :)

LOL,  good description !

Well, if there happens to be a MCG owner who for some reason desires to rid himself of the grip, I'm all ears!

My Gunfighter with MCG Pro RU has been dispatched today - they've sold more Gunfighters Pro than they had so I'm getting basic Gunfighter now and then they will send me Extension kit to turn it into Pro :P

I've tried to get high-end VKB stick since they've shown Black Mamba... that would be over 6 years now... makes me wanna cry. :drinks:

Is anyone aware of an alternate source for getting Warthog/Gunfighter MkII Rev.B adapters? No stock in Europe and the MCG will probably be there only in the late summer :(

VKB Warthog adapter is 'sold out' in vkbcontrollers.com, not available in VKB Sim in Aliexpress, neither in vkb-sim.pro...

Their EU store is not professional. I asked them about replacement springs and they told me it will be possible to order and then nothing happened. Simmilar thing for some other (more expensive) items. Then again their store at alliexpress is working ok but shipping and VAT is huge. Simmilar with US store. Why on earth EU store is such a mess only they know.

I guess if Virpil would make desktop joystick with all metal gimbal mechanism, it would sell like mad in EU.

I've lost all hope for VKB years ago. It seems they are always out of stock no matter what, as for release dates... that's a joke. In the end it's a pity cause they do have some excellent gear but it seems it's made from unobtainium.

Thanks for the heads-up, Sokol1, it confirms what I've seen so far. In case you spot someone willing to say adieu to their MCG let me know :thank_you:

I've got no complaints regarding my experience with VKB, with both their Chinese and European counterparts. Eduard always replied do my e-mails promptly and with courtesy. I guess I'm lucky. Received their MkI.V pedals an hour ago, I'm eager to try them out.

FYI

Just got an info VKB Europe will refresh their inventory in their store over the weekend.

And they lied again.....one of the reasons I lost interest into their pedals.....this is so sad.

If you want a somewhat "solid" information about VKB schedules look at il2sturmovik.ru VKB section - their managers "talk" there.

VKB EU, USA sites just replicate what they are 'officially' informed.

What they officially state just constantly changes though...

Because of my bad experience with VKB in the past I will spend the extra bucks for crosswind pedals instead of going with VKB pedals.

I also plan to get a high end stick soon. Virpil/Baur will be the way to go for me.

The problem is the official mail from official representative from VKb informed me that replacement springs and a bunch of other stuff will be available in VKB EU store from past weekend. Well it wasnt and still it isnt. Some stuff which was announced in the past was months late in the store. Unacceptable.
