Was that a single sortie?  I never dare fire such long bursts because the ammo runs out too fast yet you had cannon right to the end.  I probably just got confused by their being two aircraft in the video or maybe it is just that I shoot shorter bursts but do a lot more of them because I keep missing :-)

Hauggy, we were on the official ATAG ts server on the afternoon European time. DB still flies a lot.

 

Roblex, the Heinekel kill at the start was the first sortie (I was using AP ammo on the 37mm) but the last three kills were all together.

 

The cannon runs out quick but the .50 cals are deadly too. The 30 round 37mm ammo load is a lot better than the 18 rounds carried by the Lagg-3 and is devastating. I was also surprised at the acceleration of the P-39 in the dive - I had to use lots of elevator trim to pull out of vertical maneuvers. The P-39 is great fun - particularly for bomber hunting but is no match for late model Bf-109s or 190s.
