mrmcmichael Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 I'm so sorry if these questions have already been answered elsewhere. I want this game, I want to give 1C and 777 about 100 dollars of my money for this game, but I have a few questions that I haven't found the answers to yet. First, I want this game to be available to me on Steam. I had purchased about 65% of the RoF content before the Channel Battles edition came to steam, and then I ended up creating a new account and buying 100% of the content on the last steam sale because the accounts weren't compatible. That means I grudgingly paid twice and I have an account with a lot of planes that will never be used again. If I buy this game, will 777 provide steam keys when they are available, or would I be expected to dispense with another $95 to have it on steam? Second, what is the pricing model for this game? Will the game be entirely account based with piecemeal plane purchases like RoF, or will it be a complete offering with expansion packs like the original IL-2? Does anyone know? Third, is the $95 the "premium" or the "standard" price? It's not clear on the purchase page. Thank you for your responses, guys, just trying to figure out what I'm getting into. I look forward to seeing you in the air.

Standard price will be implemented again once game is released or just before it is released. Cya in the skies
DD_Arthur Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 We are still in the alpha stage of development but this will be a Steam title either upon general release or soon afterwards. General release target date is second quarter of this year.
ACG_Kraut Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 (edited) I'm in the same boat for Steam, I prefer to have everything there, but RoF and even DCS have issues with moving our non-steam accounts to Steam. Very annoying. I hope they can work out a better system this time with Valve to provide us keys if and when the game goes to Steam. Edited January 4, 2014 by 4./JG26_Kraut
