P39, homing beacon?

Hi,

 

does anybody know if the P39 homing beacon works? When selected as an optional extra the needles don't seem to home in on any friendly airfield, or am I using it incorrectly?

Which game mode? I've used it in the Yaks in Career and it works correctly.

Hes talking about the P39, not Yak...and ive noticed the same thing...Even with the right radio channel selected, it wont move or point towards the closest beacon.

On the same map it does work in other A/C though....

Yes, it works in the Yak but it doesn't seem to work in the P39 in my experience. I've changed radio channel selections but still no movement, bugged?

How doe you go about using the things in the first place? What keys to select radio channel?

Seems it points at next waypoint, not beacon?

There aren't any keys to select. It just automatically points to the closest radio beacon.
