kestrel79 Posted March 20, 2018 Posted March 20, 2018 My joystick pinky switch has been really hard to push in to get it to work last couple months. Is there possibly something loose connection or wiring wise that would make this happen or something I could adjust with the physical button itself? I like to use this button for zooming in while flying so it's very important to me to try and get this button back working properly thanks.
kestrel79 Posted April 9, 2018 Author Posted April 9, 2018 Anyone? I know not many have this stick but I do love it, just wish this button would be easier to push like it used to.
Piekarz Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 (edited) It may be mechanical issue - some plastic part broken. As far as I remember there in no spring in pinkie switch. It may be electronic issue - monostable switch broken. Pinky switch has a standard monostable switch connector inside the grip. It can be easily replaced (soldering/technical skills required). Just contact VKB get the name model of the switch part replace it Yourself or in some electro workshop. There is many models/sizes so it's better to ask VKB for name or show the damaged switch part in shop to replace one. The switch part look like this one Edited April 9, 2018 by Piekarz
Sokol1 Posted April 9, 2018 Posted April 9, 2018 (edited) Measure the size of micro-switch under the lever and buy a OMROM B3F series with similar size, better than original. Look's 6x6 mm: Edited April 9, 2018 by Sokol1
