Hi  Devs,

 I'm making a 4k Template from scratch of the Ju 88 A4, it was going great until i came to map correctly the gun rest for the "A" stand ((Front cockpit) and found that the mapping for this item corresponds to the Port under wing, there seem to be plent of space within the void areas so i'm sure this is an oversight and wonder if it can be corrected as it is simply a case of moving the  appropriate UV's to a better mapping area. I know this is not a game breaker and thus falls down on the list of priorities but as template maker and skinner this is pushing ALL my OCD buttons lol.  Many Thanks in advance.

Wow this sort of thing is quite bad from a skinning point of view, not factoring in how much the game cost and its DLC.

I really thought this sort of thing was a thing of the past (I remember the old Spit Vb skin with the oval roundel back in its day).

The question is, not if it can be fixed, but will the devs bother to fix it.

 

Knowing a bit about mesh layouts and skinning, how is it, (with all the available space on these 2 and 4 k templates), this sort of thing is allowed to make it to publication?

I find it a real shame, when you consider the quality of the models in game, these bad maps are letting the models down.
