Reflected Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I went home from the theater and spent the rest of the day googling the real characters, watching real-life footage on youtube. I haven't seen such a movie in a long time, I was completely "sucked-in" and fascinated.
6./ZG26_Emil Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Well I just watched Rush last night and it was a superb and stunning film. You wont hear me say that about a movie very often and I normally watch indie films these days and they tend to be more innovative. It's always a pleasure to see Alexandra Maria Lara in a film and Daniel Bruhl had Niki Lauda down to a T. It was funny to see the JPS brand on one of the cars, it brought back some interesting memories, born in 1972 I'm a little too young to remember the battle between Hunt and Lauda but I do remember seeing James Hunt as a commentator, it's very sad that he died so young. It's pretty scarey how dangerous F1 was back then, death was not a rarity like it is today.
II./JG27_Rich Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 When James Hunt beat the crap out of that reporter I think I had tears in my eyes
