NETSCAPE Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 (edited) How are your guys' missions/campaigns holding up after the update? Fire and Ice is my priority above anything Sirens of Death... After testing and playing for 3 days and fixing the first 9 missions here is what I found: I've had to rework some attack sequences since they changed the AI attack logic (they prioritize targets differently). 110's actually seem worse about just getting their bombs dropped, period. Not much I can do there. After plotting out a few different spreads of targets and the result is always derp...just gotta go with it I guess... Like targets will be ALL OVER and only flight lead will drops bombs and strafe while the wingmen just struggle to follow. I know this was an issue before but it seems worse now. I have to completely rethink and redo all the clouds, not too big of a deal I thought but then I realized...see below... I obsessively timed my missions. ie, when the sun is setting or rising at the start or end of a mission, they were perfect. Overall light and visibility has been DRAMATICALLY changed now due to the new sky dome and clouds I assume (unless they literally changed the times of dawn and dusk). So any missions that were right around dusk (often in the campaign) now result in darkness by the time you get home or even worse, darkness before you get to the target area...so time to replay/record and time the missions again...then change the "time: 0:00" in all briefings... for every locality/language... Spotting no longer works. Not sure what's going on here. Worked like a charm before. I only use it a couple times to simulate an air-spotter unit calling out "hidden" targets in a tree line for example which are fake blocks. These used to show on the map but it just doesn't work now. Again not only does this break the mission, but it also means I have to redo the briefing, in every language, after I decide what I'm going to do instead... I just realized I have a text file noting down the time, and all atmosphere options of every mission. Damn I love when I'm so prepared for problems that I don't even realize how prepared I am. hahaha. Edited March 19, 2018 by NETSCAPE

OK I won't be any help here, but I have a extreme habit of getting to bottom of this by Text bugging anyone about it or just scanning any topics across these forum (last one seem to more easier and less infamous than ever). So I'll get in tag you up with a text if I find anything helpful.
