Action Marker not showing

The Action Marker is not showing on the map anymore.

Turning on the HUD (U) and the Markers (I) should let you see the both Nav points and unit markers. For some reason just turning on the HUD doesn't show markers by default. 

 

If this isn't your issue, what missions are you running? For escort missions there aren't any Nav markers shown, just your escort objective which you have to be with until they finish their mission.

I have my own setups where an action marker is set on the map at the start of the mission to guide pilots to action.  It used to work before and I have not changed my mission setups since.  It used to work with HUD on or OFF.  I have also just discovered that the waypoint marker on the map is also not showing anymore.

The marker is set to be seen by all sides including Neutral

I am only referring to the markers that are set to show on the in game map and briefing, not any other aids that show in cockpit area
