Will my BOS disc play on PS4?

I just invested in the PS4 VR rig. Will my BOS disc play on the PS4? If not, how do we get to play BOS in VR?

You need to run IL-2: Battle of Stalingrad on PC. If you want it to run in VR mode you'll need to make sure you have a very powerful PC plus a VR headset (HTC Vive and Occulus Rift are the two most popular).

Pardon me if I'm wrong, but how could a disc made for the computer play on a PS4? If that were possible, why would game developers make different versions of their games? One for PC, one for PS4, one for X BOX....etc.

Because the PS4 will play both DVD and BlueRay, so it was worth a shot.

In all seriousness, if you have a BOS "disk" you will likely have limited or no access to the game. The disks were intended for the Russian market only. Many offered online are forgeries/copies with no valid access codes. Check your disk. If it is a forgery, then buy the game here (digital download only) from the official website as the game is absolutely worth it. You need a PC with decent specs to enjoy the game though. Minimum specs will give you minimum results.
