jlan5031jlan5031 Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 The Kuban update generally works well for me. I have only two problems which are probably because of my own ignorance. First, when I fly the I-16, I can't get my position low enough to see the instrument panel. I've set the up/down controls for both Pilot's Head and Camera. Neither my assignments nor the default settings have any effect. Second, I have both a joy stick and yoke. I like to use the yoke for those ac which had a yoke. The sticks works well, but, though I've assigned controls for the yoke, the game won't recognize anything but stick assignments. I haven't had any problems with IL-2 1946, or COD. I must be missing something. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.
jlan5031jlan5031 Posted March 18, 2018 Author Posted March 18, 2018 I figured out how to use the yoke. All I needed to do was delete the axis commands for the joystick! I still can't figure out how to get my head low enough to see the I-16 instrument panel. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Max_Damage Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 Just now, BOO said: I set a snap view for it Can you use snap views with opentrack/trackIR? could you give me a hint how can i set snap views please? Would love to have one myself.
BOO Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 (edited) Yes you can -certainly in Opentrack with my ED tracker it overrides the HT whilst the key is pressed. This thread may get you started (click on the title) - there is a ref in there to "Requiem's Profile" -not sure if there is a link anywhere but anything by that guy is worth checking out. Dakpilot Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 Is there not a default 'instrument' view on the numpad, 0 or decimal something like that ? Cheers, Dakpilot
jlan5031jlan5031 Posted March 18, 2018 Author Posted March 18, 2018 I FOUND IT! Thanks to all of your responses, I started checking pilot head positions. There it was-the number pad decimal("".)! Thank you all for your ideas.
