Post Update: UI is too small, UI Size Options are greyed out, what to do?

So, I am used to the Big UI, post Update it is almost half the Size, and there is an Option to make it bigger again, but the x125 and x150 are greyed out. Any Solutions or am I cursed with it from now on?

It seams scaling doesent work, for me its also greyed out and on 100% all time, but if i try to play at any lower resolution exept my native one UI is getting smaller and smaller, that was not case before patch, and letters and tehnochat is geting hard to read, so lowering resolution to get more fps is no go with this new UI and scaling not working.

 

I tryed to manualy changing its value in startup.cfg from scale = 1.00000  to scale = 1.50000 but UI stays same , only whats changed is greyed option is showing 150% but its clear its not at 150%

 

Maybe this option is only for 4K Monitors or VR i dont know as there is no explanatin for it, or is it normal that UI gets smaller as you change resolutions in game, before patch it didnt do that so i dont know if this is UI bug or intended to work like that.

in VR the UI is tiny, half the size of pre-update. It's not a show stopper in the menus or techno-chat. However it is pretty straining on the eyes for the server chat messages... 

 

edit: forgot to mention - i set the monitor resolution to 800x600 like in the previous patch. I noticed the recommended resolution when first launched the game was at 1200x700 or x800.. can't remember. So I lowered it to keep the impact to VR low. If the UI size is dependent on the monitor resolution then I guess i have to increase it and see if it helps. Doesn't make much sense for VR though..
