Is the German Career Bugged??

Have had that occur with one of the IL-2 squadrons south of the port too, so looks like there is an issue with the mission generation regarding multiple flights on the same runway. (In my case some fighters spawned clipping through our Il-2s with understandably troublesome results.)

Hmmm...

I bug reported this and THEN found this thread that indicates it has already been bug reported. 

Like some of you I have the IC 2nd then the Honour Goblet without the IC 1st.

 

The question is, when this issue is resolved will we be automatically awarded the missing awards or will we permanently be without them?

The already know it. Happend to me as well when switching from moscow to Stalingrad. They announced a patch today in the next 3-4 weeks fixing more than 40 items. I guess this is also on their list.

You should be careful. In a few years time the politburo might insist that you are strapped into some kind of experimental space rocket. If you're lucky they'll send a dog first.

No new mission types till later in the year but I think it was mentioned in the change log that the player will be assigned to transport flights more frequently.

Maybe the fact that the German kill requirements in real life were so much more lax than the Soviet ones meant that they handed out medals less often? The Soviets gave out money for kills, so they made sure than as many kills as possible were discounted so they had to pay less. This also means that they would hand out medals more often, to pacify some peeved pilots. I read that the top 2 Soviet aces, officially credited with only 50+ kills, probably got about 120 kills each during the war. Maybe thats whats going on.
