NETSCAPE Posted March 17, 2018 Posted March 17, 2018 Tested KG 55 as wingman. Defaults to 92% fuel. He 111's barely lifted off. 2 out of 6 crashed due to heavy weight.
chuggs1 Posted March 18, 2018 Posted March 18, 2018 (edited) Hi, this problem existed with the game even before the update and they were supposed to have adressed it but it seems they haven't, or have only half done the job. I enjoy flying bombing missions and have made several videos. I found that when carrying a heavy bombload I had to reduce the fuel load to it's minimum allowed, approx 60% and even then had to take an extra long run down the runway ( see video with 2 bombs ). However since the update I've noticed that the few bombing missions I've been on so far are far in excess of over 200km+ just to get there which means a lot of calculations just to work out how much fuel to use. Still, if you look at the video with the plane taking off carrying just one huge 2400kg bomb ( default 92% fuel load) with the others carrying smaller ones which, I think is just allowing them to get airborne and I think this is 1c 777 studios of working around the problem and as I mentiion have only half done the job. I still had to take a U Turn to use the extra 100 yards or so behind the squad of planes when carrying the massive 2400kg bomb. Hope this helps, good luck https://youtu.be/jV4o-zQMdMc https://youtu.be/ToXP5BNCv1g Edited March 18, 2018 by chuggs1 missed a word
