How to get rid of the map icon?

Hi all,

 

Maybe I'm to blame for not looking properly,  but I cant seem to find anywhere the setting that hides the icon of your current position in the navigation map. Can someone tell me how to rever to the pre-3001 standard,  which was having no info on the map,  other than the mission route?

 

I know some may like it,  but for me and others that like navigating in 100% realistic settings, that icon is a soare! Sure hope theres a way to turn it off!

At this time it looks like you have to use custom difficulty and uncheck navigation icons. May be a minor bug since the behavior is different than before the patch.

Ok,  found it!  The tooltip on the check box says something about waypoint icons so I didnt understand that meant the current position icon.

 

Weird though,  that in "expert" settings,  I am forced to do with the most un-realistic thing about navigating!
