Career Mode Flight Leaders

Is anybody else having trouble keeping up with their flight leaders in Career mode.

 

I am flying ground attack for the Germans, and having a hell of a time keeping up with my flight leader without going into combat ata.

Are you flying the Ju87?

Did you get a bigger bomb than the lead?

Are you trying to climb below 270 kph?

 

If the answer is yes on all 3 accounts, then... duh.

 

Also, combat power is not a problem, you can keep it up for 30 minutes, just keep your radiators at full open.

I am using default loadouts, and trying to maintain formation.  I am having this problem even in level flight.

 

We're in the 109e7, and I am flying coordinated.

Yes there’s still a ways to go with the AI. Same thing with a 109 campaign, you sometimes need full combat power to keep up on the ingress route. Sometimes Lead slows to near stall speed for no reason. Sometimes the flight zig zags back and forth for no reason...etc.
