My only complain about the game

Well is not only one but two, the first one is the new clouds shimering contacts every time they are close to the clouds, I have 4k activated and vsync @all ultra 120fps cap gsync. Minor bug

The second one is the UI, for the love of god pay attention to that please, the whole UI always lag or is totally unresponsive for a few seconds, my specs are in my signature in case you said its my machine. I upgraded my HDD for programs to a SSD 2TB. Serius bug in my opinion.

Jason has posted about the clouds shimmering. It's something we're stuck with.

 

The UI lag, is I suspect part of the background voodoo as AI only missions are flown, frontlines move, NPCs' are awarded medals and money, new pilots transfer in, pilots transfer out, replacement airplanes are delivered and the historical database is consulted to see if sorties were flown the next few days...you usually see that little countdown doofer ticking down.

No man, is reshade that is causing most of stutter! uninstall it asap!

I’ve run reshade on and off over the years in this game and it’s never caused any conflict.(Not running it at the moment because I just re-loaded the game and haven’t reconfigured it.)  What leads you to this conclusion regarding reshade?

Own experience in solving it leads to this conclusion. 

 

It's indeed the injector. Both reshade for monitor and 3dmigoto for VR create the shimmer. Deleting their files and verifying game cache didn't help. Something was somewhere in another file, that remained,so to speak. 

 

Only deinstalling the game, deleting its leftover files manually, and then reinstalling fresh solved it immediately. Bam, super soft clouds as supposed to be. 

 

But make sure to save your input folder for the key maps!

On and off don't work, only uninstall works, I tested it because the heavy UI lag I have and voila no more stutter and smooth UI again, Jason confirmed that and he said remove it too

Don't forget the part where you delete the game's remains as well, manually, before you reinstall.
