SCU_Server Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 What settings in the editor do we set for clouds to use the new 2 layering cloud types they go on about in version 3.00 ?? Cheers Stephen
Gambit21 Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 I've only found one preset with 2 layers so far, but that was just a quick check. In any case, it happens automatically with particular pre-sets. Just start going through them...
JimTM Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 (edited) I assume you mean this line: 17. Heavy cumulus clouds were made more complex, some of the weather variations now have two level clouds; I think this means that some of the options in the "Clouds" drop-down (or perhaps the "Precipitation" settings) result in more complex cumulus clouds, including two levels. NETSCAPE Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 I'm resaving all my Sirens of Death missions right now. I Click on atmosphere options then ok to refresh the sky with the proper clouds, and it does that. But it seems like all the clouds in the 5 missions I've opened are paper thin... I have yet to see them in-game but in the editor they look really odd.
Gambit21 Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 The odd editor clouds have been happening for a while now, and you have to enter REALLY high values to get any thickness out of the clouds.
NETSCAPE Posted March 16, 2018 Posted March 16, 2018 Yeah it might also be one part I haven't been in the editor in ages and another part I have a new monitor.
