little issue with ESC key

First of all i have to repeat myself.

 

You guys made a fantastic job. This patch is so amazing with all those contents. A very big THANK YOU!

 

I have a litle issue. It came with patch 2.012d. I thought it s gone with the newest patch but it isnt.

 

When i start the game, make a quick mission and use only my mouse throughout the menue at the end (after landing) i cant quit the mission because my ESC key isnt recognized. I have to use the task manager to quit the game.

 

but

 

if i hit once the ESC key throughout the menue (skin or weapon selection) it will be recognized and i can leave the game (after landing the ac in quick mission).

Its a kind of activating the key. I have remapped it but with no success.

 

 

Any ideas?

Shit. This ring a bell and has an easy solution but I cannot remember what it was.  Cannot even do a search for the original thread now we have changed forums. Perhaps you need to alt-tab out and back?

thats weird. I wanted to try your suggestion (alt tab but i think it didnt work thats why i had to use task manager)

 

BUT (what have you done?)

 

I dont know what happend but its working again. Hopefully tomorrow too. Lets see

The issue depends on you! You have some command active! Usually flaps or gear not set to neutral. Check your HOTAS (I suppose you have stick and throttle) and check that all swiches are set to neutral or alt+tab out of the game, start notebook aand see what command is repeated. You´ll get a line of letters that repeats ´till you swich off the swich!

Yes i have Thrustmaster Warthog stick and throttle.

I will save your comment, so next time ihave this issue, i know what to do.

Gear is on my keyboard, maybe it had to  do with the inner outer cowling flaps. I remapped it.

 

So its working again.
