Invulnerable AI plane in career?

I was flying an i16 against a 109-E7 in a Ground attack intercept mission. Emptied all of my ammo in him, no damage at all. My AI squad was scoring hits and kills around me on other targets. So I continued circling with this guy above our AAA. He got hit multiple times, not even one leak. Eventually he spins into the ground, goes through an entire forest and is still alive (and intact). My mate finish their targets and then complain that my "target" (the guy on the ground) is too far. 15 minutes later he's still there. My squad goes on to land, entire target area is clear of enemies except for this invincible dude on the ground. Primary mission objective incomplete. So I just restarted the mission. Anyone else seen something like this?

None of the english speaking testers reported anything like this. I shot down a whole bunch of 109s, and the AA at my airfield was fairly effective.

Only happened once. My first hits landed as he was committed on a dive attack. I wonder if maybe that triggered his invulnerability. Unfortunately I wasn't recording at the time.

AA is nice. On the restart I had to fight 4 109s in the same area, AA managed to take out 2, and me the other 2.

(off topic) Anyway, since you're a tester, would you mind tell me if you've ever encountered this scenario?

- when you intercept bombers (He111), some of them break formation, dive and head back home, making for really easy targets (although fast). I'm not sure what spooks them, they're not damaged. Even in a 10 bomber formation, instead of staying put, they start flying all over the place, with a few of them regrouping and continuing to the target.

- enemy can see you through 5 km of clouds.

90% of my testing was flying the P-40, P-39, Yak-1 ser 127, and Spitfire. I did see bombers break formation, jettison their bombs and turn back home. In terms of realism, this kind of behavior was frequently reported over the Kuban in Attack of the Airacobras. I don't recall reading about this happening very often in the west or the Pacific.
