Blasterlasvideo Posted March 14, 2018 Posted March 14, 2018 (edited) Im looking into other VR flight experiences (currently fly DCS A10C for 6 months) and I want to know does the Battle of Kuban support VR and output of telemetry so I can use my Jetseat and motion platform. I still love DCS for what it is, but am looking for some fun alternatives. Edited March 14, 2018 by Blasterlasvideo
Blasterlasvideo Posted March 19, 2018 Author Posted March 19, 2018 Yes. Bummer. I have a Jetseat and a motion platform that use the telemetry that DCS outputs thru USB. The flying experience is AMAZING!
Jade_Monkey Posted March 19, 2018 Posted March 19, 2018 Yes to VR (better than DCS). No to telemetry.
Blasterlasvideo Posted March 19, 2018 Author Posted March 19, 2018 Truthfully I prefer to fly study level airframes like the A10C which are used to train real pilots internationally. Arcade games like IL2 are fun, but I like powering up my jets from cold and dark. Much moe realistic to me. Especially with the Jetseat and motion platform.YMMV

You are severely limiting that though with the requirement of support for your motion platform. IL-2 in VR is an incredible combat flight sim though. The Single Player aspect of it is incredible with this latest update. Edited March 19, 2018 by dburne
Blasterlasvideo Posted March 19, 2018 Author Posted March 19, 2018 I do intend to give it a try since I have purchased it and spent 9 hours DLing it But right now all the skills necessary for flying the A10C and using its computer nav and weapons systems are filling up my brain.
