Here are Top 6 Scripted Campaigns

Best quality and innovative campaigns are:

1.  Taman Bridgehead  and Allmost by Samson

A campaign with 18 missions with high quality design and layout.  The escape mission starting from airfield while it is overrun by enemy tanks induces your heartbeat to rise.  Hard to stop playing because each missions are full of dynamics and surprises.  Samson should charge for his campaigns.

2.  10 days Autumn by B6

Premium campaign with professional quality.  Very atmospheric.

3.  Two Veteranen campaigns by Veteranen

Not an active campaign maker and they are broke somewhat as a result.  That said very high quality and immersive voice over should have put this on #1 if not for its broken state.

4.  Haashasin Boy's Life

Well played out story with watertight mission designs.  WW2 era music is a ++

5.  Last Hope by walter

First campaign by walter but stunning layout and almost error free missions.  High potential campaign author.

6. Juri's campaigns

Juri is probably a pioneer (shoulder to shoulder with Veteranen) in mission designs during early period of BOS.  Look fwd to more campaigns from Juri.

Other worthy to mention authors are:  Netscape

Others are just mediocre - just take off, shoot, return base routine missions and some obsecure text in between.

I feel that B6 must put more dynamics in his campaigns for them to sell.  I bot both camapigns but didnt really bother with blazing steppes.  Blazing steppes must have had lower sales than 10 days.  Why? Its a repetition of 10 days on just a diff map with a diff plane of same theatre and era.

Thanks for the note worthy mention. Hopefully my ZG 26 campaign puts me on your list :salute:, then again I know some people only really like to fly fighters. I am quite the opposite. I like blowing stuff up on the ground primarily.

I’ve found several of the new 3rd party campaigns don’t work with the new update. Is there any easy solution..perhaps a re-install of the ones that don’t work?

It requires you to delete all the .msnbin files. Then open the mission editor, open a mission (.mission), save (generates new .msnbin).

Possibly unneeded, but I insert another task...after I open the mission I click atmosphere options and ok just to reapply the settings to make sure the proper skies are applied... then save.

You have to do this with every mission. I updated all of Sirens of Death and Fire and Ice last night. It takes awhile due to load times of the missions in the editor... I just lifted some weights during the load times, no prob. :salute:

Are you going to re-post them/ If you do ,will we have to delete the old versions? Thanks!

The main download of Sirens of Death was updated with the new version files.

I only sent the updated Fire and Ice version to the two people still working on translations.

For those lucky enough to be testers on Fire and Ice, its definitely going to be worth the wait............  Has it been tested again since the 3.0 update?............ and fine tuned again?

Cheers

Hoss............ I like to blow the shit out of stuff too...............

I can vouch for that, I've tested it in the scope of the translation and it's a great campaign, both the story and the missions! :)

I hear great thing about Netscapes campaign.  I personally had difficulties installing and successfully running his files.

Could you explain what you mean by more dynamics? I'm genuinely curious.

@sinned could you please add links to the topics or direct download links? thanks

There’s a dedicated sub-forum. Just go to it and all the campaigns are right there, with the newly updated ones right at the top.

On the face of it, Blazing Steppes is similar to Ten Days in Autumn, but I'd be hard pressed to choose a favourite there as both were excellent campaigns. Blazing Steppes was a bit harder and perhaps even more desperate of a campaign and man did I have a lot of fun with that one. If you like Yaks then its a great campaign and a very refined experience too. I'm looking forward to playing it again on the revamped Stalingrad map as a bonus.
