Ceowulf Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 Is there a way to bind flaps and prop pitch each to an axis? It seems like they're stuck as only up and down buttons but maybe that's deliberate. Am I missing something? Thanks, Ceowulf<><
THERION Posted March 12, 2018 Posted March 12, 2018 (edited) You can actually bind the prop pitch / rpm control to an axis, if you got a free axis on one of your controls. As for the flaps it's not possible at the moment - you can only control the flaps via buttons / switches. The flap control via axis was already discussed on this forum and a lot of members would like to have this option. Cheers Edited March 12, 2018 by EAF_T_Therion
Sokol1 Posted March 13, 2018 Posted March 13, 2018 Prop Pitch:RPM can be assigned in an axis but not for all planes, some has electric control of this command, e.g. Bf 109, Fw 190 and require buttons/keys. In the same way flaps in an axis will be not appropriated in some planes, e.g. Ju-87, Fw 190 flaps are in defined steeps.

Sokol, you're absolutely right - I simply wanted to mention that at the moment only Prop/RPM can be assigned to an axis. I know that it also depends on aircraft type how Prop/RPM and even radiator control is handled... Thanks. Cheerio
