GunneryAce Posted March 11, 2018 Posted March 11, 2018 (edited) Hey Guys! I just built a new PC, half of the parts coming from my previous build, but with a fresh install of Win10. All Nvidia drivers up to date and Windows 10 as well. IL2 was working fine previously, but now when I start the game from Steam, it starts up fine. Once I click on Quick Mission, and pick a spot on the map to start at, it crashes on me. What do I do? My specs are: i7 8700k gtx 1080 ti 32gb ram ddr4 Edited March 11, 2018 by GunneryAce
GunneryAce Posted March 12, 2018 Author Posted March 12, 2018 Ends up that I found the issue. I have EVGA XOC Precision working in the background and it causes a conflict when running along with IL-2 Sturmovik. Now I have another issue. It keeps telling me that I have to install .NET Framework 3.5 but everytime I reinstall it, restart, it shows up again as if it wasn't installed. Any ideas?
pencon Posted March 15, 2018 Posted March 15, 2018 Mine crashes in quick mission at the loading screen. Just freezes up, need to hit control alt delete multiple times before it shuts down. I noticed when I first install the game in Windows 10 , during the install when it came time to I stall the certain files it said there is a newer version of these files already installed , so I skipped those files. I don't think it even gave me the option to reinstall them , some king of MS++12 or something like that.
