The Captains

                                                                                                           The Captains are looking for faithful hands before the mast!

 

Since its inception at the now long gone Frugals World of Simulations in 2001, we've had around 20 Captains active and around.

Life has caused casualties among the crew. Frugals went down, IL2 was fragmented after the mods appeared and many captains sailed off to saucy wives and wee ones under foot. So for the first time since ever, we're looking for able bodied crew.

 

What we are:
Rankless. Everyone is a Captain. Quite a few of us either retired from the military or served at one point in the past and we have no desire to spend game time reliving that level of structure and rigidity. We have no XO, CO or BO. We are all mostly over 40 years old upwards of 60 for a few of us. From all walks of life hail all.

 

What we expect:

Don't be a scallywag. No seriously, don't. Your level of airmenship or gunnery prowess has no bearing on anything. We do expect you to be able taxi, takeoff and land without issue. If you're able to learn, we will help you. We do expect a moderate level of participation however. Knowing nothing and trying to learn the ropes by dropping in for a game session once a month is one step forward and two steps back. But we also understand that breasts, work and life do take priority, this is just pixels after all. Have a headset and a mic and be one with, and love, push to talk.

We use Discord and Mumble. The later being for multi-role packages (ie; SEAD, Escort, Strike etc) We are US time zones, ranging from pacific to eastern.
