LLv44_Mprhead Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Hello, Just wanted to inform everyone that we are forming a new (finnish speaking) squadron using the name 13./JG51. Our core is mainly from Dodo squadron from about 2004, but for Battle of Stalingrad we decided to go for more historical name in order to avoid causing any immersion problems for anyone I hope everyone using any kind of JG51 squadron names are okey with us using this name. We are not, and will not be, any kind of strict, military type, virtual squadron, but a bunch of people having fun together. Our focus is to fly Luftwaffe, but if in multiplayer one side has clear disadvantage in numbers, we will fly that side. BR mprhead (a.k.a. Dodo_koomikko) P.S. depending on how changing squadron tag is implemented in game, we might be flying as 13.IAP when flying on VVS side, but that remains to be seen.

707shap_Srbin Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 (edited) Hi gents! Greetings! 13 (Panzerjager) Staffel / Jagdgeschwader 51 "Molders" was one of two longest-lived Luftwaffe Hs129 Panzerjager Staffeln. Günther Jolas - appt Staka 6./SG 101 15.10.44-18.10.43 Lt. / Oblt. Hans Jentsch - Staffel renamed 14.(Pz)/SG 9 14.(Pz)/SG 9 18.10.43-26.10.43 Oblt. And actually, up to Battle of Kursk pilots of 13.(Pz)/JG51 were most skilled "tank-busters" of Luftwaffe. Unfortunatly, Staffel suffered greaviously hard lossees during Citadel, losing many good pilots. Edited July 14, 2015 by 4./ZG26_Panzerbar
