A few days ago I deleted all my recorded tracks and it appears that since then I can no longer record them.

This applies to both online and offline play. I've tried re-assigning a new key and even assigning one with no other function but with no success. As I bought BoS and BoM through Steam I've had steam verify the integrity of the files and all are shown as being ok.

Has anyone any suggestions as to the cause and remedy? If it means a new install which folders should I copy to keep my current key settings?

Any help will be most appreciated as I find watching the tracks very useful.

How did you delete the tracks? If you just deleted the whole folder, you need to make sure that there is still a folder called "Tracks" in the game's data folder.

Otherwise I am stumped.

Thanks for the quick reply. I deleted the tracks in game rather than deleting the folder but having said that I can't see a folder called 'tracks' in my data folder so you may have found the answer. If I add a folder called tracks to my data folder perhaps this will solve the problem. It's worth a try. I assume the folder is styled tracks - lower case.

Mine actually says "Tracks" as written.  I do not think folder names are case sensitive. Anyway just give it a try.

Odd that your folder is missing - not sure how that would have happened.

Many, many thanks! Problem solved. Adding the folder was the answer. I can only assume that deleting the last save also deleted the folder in which case I'm going to rename my first 'new' save - Do not delete.
